How long does it take to publish an ebook?
The time required to take your manuscript to e-book completion depends on the publishing plan you purchase, how long your manuscript is, and what shape your manuscript is in when we receive it. On average, creating your e-book will take about 15 to 20 days to complete, while publishing your e-book and making it available for sale can take up to 30 to 45 days to complete.
Can I supply my own artwork?
Yes, you can supply your own artwork. All artwork must be high-quality and sent in jpeg or PDF format at at least 100 dpi. Cover design is also a part of each publishing package.
What are your general publishing guidelines?
We will accept any manuscript that honors God, Jesus Christ and biblical, Christian principles. We reserve the right to reject any manuscript that does not agree with our statement of faith or basic Christian principles. We will not accept any manuscript that encourages blasphemy, homosexuality, abortion, violence, pornography, abuse, or any resemblance of such activity.
Will I be required to buy copies of my ebook?
No, you do not have to purchase any copies of your ebook. Once your ebook has been published, you will have access to all of the e-book files for your own use.
Can color pictures be included in my book?
Color pictures can only be included in the Barnes & Noble Nook or Apple iBookstore. Other ebook readers accept black and white/grey scale images only.
How much and how often are authors paid?
All authors are paid 50% of what the e-book retailer pays ChristianEbookPublisher.com. For example, if your e-book sells for $6.99 on Amazon Kindle, and Amazon Kindle pays us 70% which is $4.89 per e-book, ChristianEbookPublisher.com will pay the author $2.45, which is 50% of $4.89.
All royalty payments are made quarterly.
